Aunty Fern Martins

Aunty Fern Martins has an artistic career spanning 50 years. Her venture into Indigenous children’s book illustrations saw her shortlisted for several awards including the CBCA NOTABLE Picture Book of the Year 2018 for Big Fella Rain. Waka Waka and Bungalung country, Northern NSW/Southern QLD are Fern’s Aboriginal family places.
