Emma Rafferty

Emma Rafferty has been working in books for almost two decades and as of May 2025 is a Commissioning Editor at Pan Macmillan Australia, where she is acquiring fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books for older readers. Prior to that, she was the Editorial Manager at Hachette Australia, and she has also worked as a freelance and inhouse editor. She is passionate about discovering and developing talent and supporting writers to create sustainable careers. She is an ardent booklover and is currently reading Show Don’t Tell by Curtis Sittenfeld and Love Unedited by Caro Llewellyn.
