Jumaana Abdu

Jumaana Abdu is the author of Translations (Vintage) which has been longlisted for the 2025 Stella Prize and shortlisted for the 2025 MUD Literary Prize. Her widely published fiction and essays have won the Dal Stivens Award and the Patricia Hackett Prize. During the day, she is a medical doctor.
