The 2025 Ripples Schools Program is back for its fifth year of inspiring the next generation of readers, creative artists and storytellers of the Central Coast.
Offering engaging, educational and interactive sessions, primary students will explore the world of literature with award-winning children’s authors and illustrators.
For visiting primary school groups, we offer three fun-filled sessions comprising author talks and author or illustrator workshops.
Talks offer our curated set of authors and illustrators a space to discuss their craft and engage with the students. These sessions cater to large groups, from 60 to 300.
Workshops allow our presenters to demonstrate their knowledge and stimulate creativity in a more intensive, hands-on context. These sessions cater to both smaller class-sized groups (approximately 30) and larger groups up to 200.*
Our workshops will encourage young people to open their imaginations and be bold in their creative writing and art.
All sessions are developed with connections to the NSW Curriculum. All sessions are best aimed at grades 5 – 6 but are suitable for grades 3 – 6
In 2025, the Ripples Primary Schools Program is being offered as a DAY PASS. Entry is $25 for each student and entitles entry to two (2) author talks, plus one (1) creative writing or illustration workshop.
All students will be allocated to a creative writing or illustration workshop with one of our listed presenters. Allocations are made based on date of booking, requested preference and with the best needs of your students in mind.
